What
is the sanitary safety standard certification system?
Sanitary safety standard certification
(hereinafter referred to as 'KC Certification') is a legal mandatory
certification system
that must be certified that materials or products that come
into contact
with water in water facilities (excluding water intake, water
storage and water facilities)
according to Article 14 (1) of the Water Act of
Korea meets Article 2 of Annex 1 of Article 24 of the Decree.
The purpose of this system is to secure the
sanitary safety of water supplies
and products and to prevent secondary
pollution of tap water in advance,
thereby laying the foundation for the supply
of safe tap water to the public.
